Interested dancers can apply for the following courses in 2018:

5. Additional: Advance & Professional course of classical Ballet – SOLO

Courses description:


1. Elementary BASIC course of classical Ballet – GROUP                                                                                           

Basic age 5 – 11 years

The course is intended for dancers who have only basic knowledge of the classical ballet, while the dancers does not yet master the dancing at the tip of their toes – point shoes. For example, this group includes pupils of the first two classes of the lower ballet school, pupils of private ballet schools, but not perfect beginners. The younger or older dancers as prescribed as basic age can apply to the group too, if their level of knowledge is appropriate for the group Elementary Basic Course of Classical Ballet – the group.

The course per day includes: 1-a .: 1,5 hours of classical ballet training and 1,5 hours of choreography workshops of the classical ballet – group work and 1-b .: the same as 1-a. + optionally with an additional 1,5 hours of contemporary dance workshop.


2. Elementary ADVANCED course of classical Ballet – GROUP                                                                                      

The basic age is 12 – 16 years

The course is intended for dancers who have advanced basic knowledge of the classical ballet and the dancers satisfactorily control dancing at the tip of their fingers. This group includes, for example, pupils from the fourth to the sixth grade of the lower ballet school, pupils who have completed at least four years of ballet schooling. The younger or older dancers as prescribed as basic age can apply to the group too, if their level of knowledge is suitable for the group Elementary Advanced Course of Classical Ballet – the group.

The course per day includes: 1,5 hours of classical ballet training, 1,5 hours Point shoes technique and jumps workshop – group work and 1,5 hours of Contemporary dance workshop.


3. Advance & Professional course of classical Ballet – GROUP                                                                      

Basic age is 17+ years old

The course is intended for dancers who are studying at the secondary, high or higher school of classical ballet and for professional ballet dancers. This group includes dancers with really good dance condition, good knowledge of the classical ballet and good control of the demanding Point shoes technique. The younger and older dancers as prescribed as basic age can apply to the group too, if their level of knowledge and dance condition are appropriate for the group Advance / Professional Course of the Classical Ballet – the group.

The course per day includes: 1,5 hours of classical ballet training, 1,5 hours Point shoes and jumps workshop – group work and 1,5 hours of Contemporary dance workshop.


4. Additional: Elementary ADVANCED course of classical Ballet – SOLO                                                                               

The purpose of the course is to work mainly on easier solo variations and pas de deux (dancing for two – in the case of a sufficient number of male participants) whose choreographies will be composed with regard to the technical knowledge and fitness preparedness of each participant. Next to solo, the Dancers will dance also group dances at the time when they will not have their own solo performance. The course is intended for dancers who are studying at the secondary, high or higher school of classical ballet and professional ballet dancers. This group includes dancers with really good dance condition, good knowledge of the classical ballet and good control of the demanding Point shoes technique. The younger and older dancers as prescribed as basic age can apply to the group too, if their level of knowledge and dance condition are appropriate for the group Advance / Professional Course of the Classical Ballet – the group.

The course daily includes, besides of all workshops of the Advanced Course of Classical Ballet – GROUP, another 1.5 hours solo repertoire of the classical ballet.


5. Additional: Advance & Professional course of classical Ballet – SOLO                                                            

The purpose of the course is to work on solo variations and pas de deux (in the case of a sufficient number of male participants) from the most known repertoire of the classical ballet. Next to solo, dancers will be classified in groups too at the time when they do not have their own solo performances with solo roles. The work in the course is structurally equivalent to the work on creating a ballet performance with soloists and corps de Ballet. The pedagogue will classify participants in individual variations or solo performances regarding to their quality of knowledge, dance condition and technical readiness. The course is intended for dancers who are studying at the secondary, high or higher school of classical ballet and professional ballet dancers. This group includes dancers with really good dance condition, good knowledge of the classical ballet and good control of the demanding point shoes technique. The younger or older dancers as prescribed as course age can apply to the solo workshop too, if their level of knowledge and dance condition are suitable for the Advance & professional course of the classical ballet – solo.

In addition to all the workshops of the Advance / Professional Course of Classical Ballet – GROUP, the solo workshop includes a further 1,5 hours of solo repertoire of the classical ballet.


6. Optional choose of course’s workshops                                                                                                                                                       

  • Classical ballet – training (Elementary Advanced course or Advance & Professional course)

or

  • Classic ballet – training + one or more other workshops of your choice.

    An optional selection of individual workshops is possible exclusively in a set of individual workshops or workshops with classical ballet training! It is not possible to visit an individual workshop without classical ballet training.


7. Ballet trenning for professional Ballet dancers                                                                         

Professional ballet dancers can apply for 90 minutes classical ballet training every day. They apply at the reception desk of the Dancs Center for each single training on each single day. They pay participation fee at the registration desk.
